Tipping Etiquette in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Tipping is appreciated but not strictly expected in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and rounding up the bill or leaving about 5–10% in restaurants, cafés, and for taxi rides is a common way to show thanks for good service. In many places the service charge is not automatically included, but locals usually tip modestly rather than generously, and small cash tips are more practical than adding a large amount to the card payment.
