Etiquette Etiquette in Bhutan

Use a soft, respectful manner: greet people with a slight nod or a brief "kuzu zangpo" and avoid loud public displays of anger, affection, or impatience. When entering homes, temples, or dzongs, remove your shoes and dress modestly, and if you are offered tea or food, accept with both hands as a sign of respect.
