Dining Etiquette in Bahrain

Dining in Bahrain is usually relaxed but polite: wait to be seated or invited to start, use your right hand for shared dishes, and expect generous hospitality with repeated offers of tea, coffee, or more food. In traditional settings, especially at family meals or majlis gatherings, it is normal to eat from communal platters and to accept at least a little of what is offered, since refusing too firmly can be seen as discourteous.
