Dress modestly and keep public affection, loud arguments, and overtly boisterous behavior to a minimum, especially in conservative neighborhoods and during Ramadan. In cafés and on the street, people are generally sociable but reserved, and it is polite to greet others before starting a conversation or asking for help.
