Coffee & Tea Etiquette in South Sudan

Tea is the more common everyday hot drink in South Sudan, and it is usually served sweet and strong, often with milk, especially in homes, roadside stalls, and after meals. Coffee is available in towns and hotels but is less central to daily social life, so if you are offered tea it is a normal sign of hospitality and it is polite to accept at least a small cup.
