Public toilets in South Korea are generally clean, modern, and easy to find in subway stations, department stores, and convenience stores, and it is normal to carry your own tissues because some stalls may not provide toilet paper or soap. Do not flush wipes, sanitary products, or other trash unless the bin is clearly meant for them, and in older places you may still encounter squat toilets alongside Western-style ones.
