Photography Etiquette in Serbia

Ask before photographing people, especially in villages, markets, or at family gatherings, because many Serbs expect a quick request rather than being snapped candidly. It is usually fine to take photos of streets, cafés, and landmarks, but be discreet in churches, at memorials, and around military or police facilities where photography may be restricted or frowned upon.
