Public swearing is generally frowned upon in Pakistan, especially in mixed company, family settings, and around elders, so travelers should keep language restrained and avoid using profanity in anger or as casual emphasis. In everyday speech people may still use mild insults or religious exclamations among close friends, but openly cursing can be taken as rude, disrespectful, or even provocative.
