Queueing Etiquette in Malaysia

Queueing is generally expected in Malaysia, especially at banks, government offices, clinics, and popular food stalls, and people usually wait their turn without pushing ahead. In busy places you may see informal line management by staff or numbered tickets, and at hawker centres or during Ramadan bazaars the queue can be looser but still orderly if you follow the flow and do not cut in.
