Toilets Etiquette in Honduras

Most public toilets in Honduras are basic and may not have toilet paper, soap, or a seat, so carry tissues and hand sanitizer and be prepared to pay a small fee at bus stations, markets, or roadside stops. In homes and some older plumbing systems, avoid flushing toilet paper unless a bin is provided, because pipes can be narrow and many places rely on septic systems.
