Tipping Etiquette in Honduras

Tipping is appreciated in Honduras but usually modest: in restaurants, a 10% service charge is often already included, and if it is not, leaving around 10% is common for good service. Small extra tips for hotel staff, tour guides, and drivers are welcome, but locals generally do not expect large gratuities or heavy tipping in everyday situations.
