Recycling Etiquette in Gambia

Recycling is not yet a strong everyday norm in Gambia, so travelers should not expect widespread curbside sorting or many public recycling bins outside a few hotels, offices, and urban areas. In practice, most waste is still mixed together, though some communities and NGOs promote reuse and clean-up efforts, especially in and around Banjul and tourist zones.
