Meat Etiquette in Equatorial Guinea

Meat is commonly served in hearty stews, grilled dishes, and soups, and it is normal to see goat, chicken, pork, and game more often than large beef-centered meals. In coastal areas and on Bioko, fish can be just as prominent as meat, while in inland settings a shared platter of meat with cassava, plantains, or rice is a typical everyday meal.
