Drinking Water Etiquette in Sweden

Tap water is the normal drink in Sweden and is safe to order in restaurants, cafés, and homes without any special request. Bottled water is available, but many Swedes prefer plain tap water with meals, and asking for it is completely ordinary rather than a sign of being frugal.
