Bargaining Etiquette in Norway

Bargaining is generally not expected in Norway, because prices in shops, taxis, and most services are fixed and haggling can feel awkward or pushy. The main exceptions are private sales, flea markets, and some secondhand or informal transactions, where a polite, modest offer may be accepted but aggressive negotiation is still uncommon.
