Safety Etiquette in Monaco

Monaco is very safe by day and night, so travelers usually just use normal city caution: keep an eye on valuables in crowded areas, lock cars and hotel rooms, and follow local police instructions if you are out late. The main practical exception is during major events like the Monaco Grand Prix or big yacht and casino crowds, when petty theft and traffic disruption can rise, so people are a bit more alert than usual.
