Bargaining Etiquette in Monaco

Bargaining is generally not expected in Monaco’s shops, restaurants, taxis, or hotels, where prices are usually fixed and service is polished and formal. The main exception is at flea markets, antique stalls, or when arranging private services, where a polite, low-key negotiation may be possible, but aggressive haggling is considered tacky.
