Recycling Etiquette in Georgia

Recycling is still fairly limited in Georgia, so travelers should not expect the same level of sorting or curbside collection found in many Western European countries. In Tbilisi and a few larger cities there are some separate bins and private collection points for glass, plastic, and paper, but outside those areas most waste is mixed together and people usually rely on informal disposal rather than a strong recycling culture.
