Tipping Etiquette in Gabon

Tipping is not expected in Gabon, and in many restaurants, taxis, and small services the quoted price is simply what you pay. If service is especially good, rounding up or leaving a small extra amount is appreciated, but it is discretionary rather than a fixed local obligation.
