Dining Etiquette in Chad

Meals are usually eaten with the right hand from a shared bowl or platter, so wait to be invited and use your right hand only if utensils are not provided. In many homes and at communal gatherings, it is polite to accept at least a little food or tea when offered, and refusing too quickly can seem unfriendly.
