Bargaining is generally uncommon in Belgium, especially in shops, supermarkets, and most restaurants, where prices are fixed and haggling can feel out of place. You may see a little flexibility at flea markets, antique stalls, or with private sellers, but even there the norm is to negotiate politely and modestly rather than push hard.
