Tipping Etiquette in Belarus

Tipping in Belarus is modest and not always expected; in many cafés and casual restaurants people simply round up the bill or leave about 5–10% if service was good. In hotels, taxis, and for guides or porters, a small cash tip is appreciated but not obligatory, and some nicer restaurants may already add a service charge so check the receipt first.
