Greetings Etiquette in Bahamas

A warm handshake, smile, and direct eye contact are the standard greeting in the Bahamas, and it is polite to say hello or good morning before getting to business. In casual settings people may also use friendly titles like Mr. or Miss with first names, and among close friends a relaxed hug or cheek kiss can happen, but a formal first greeting is still the safest choice.
