Meat is a central part of hospitality in Saudi Arabia, and guests are often offered lamb or chicken dishes such as
kabsa or
mandi, so it is polite to accept at least a small portion when invited. Pork is forbidden under Islamic dietary rules, and during
Eid al-Adha many families also prepare and share meat from the sacrificial animal as part of the celebration.
