Alcohol Etiquette in Samoa

Alcohol is generally accepted in hotels, resorts, and licensed bars, but public drunkenness and rowdy behavior are frowned on and can draw disapproval, especially in villages and around family events. On Sundays and during church-related occasions, drinking is often avoided or kept very discreet, and in some communities local customs may be stricter than what you see in tourist areas.
