Most public toilets in Qatar are modern Western-style, but in mosques and some older facilities you may still find squat toilets, so it helps to be prepared for either. Carry tissues or a small pack of wipes because toilet paper is not always provided, and in many places a bidet hose or water spray is the normal way to clean up.
