Tipping in Barbados is usually modest rather than obligatory: many restaurants and hotels add a 10% service charge, and if it is already included you do not need to leave much more unless the service was exceptional. For taxis, porters, and tour guides, rounding up or adding a small extra amount is appreciated, while in casual bars and cafés a few extra dollars is enough.
